The participants of the sitting considered the proposals on improvement of laws on the motor transport of Ukraine.
They discussed the bill on amendments to the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringements in part of strengthening financial liability for the infringements,
and amendments to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine "On Ratification
of Rules concerning Services
rendered by the Passenger Motor Transport."
The participants suggested alleviating the procedure for obtaining permits for the registration of new motor-coach terminals, enhancing the work of motor-coach terminals and transport operators, and establishing their responsibility.
The members of the working group recommend amending the Tax Code of Ukraine to harmonize the tax system in the transport sector with a unitary general tax system.
The participants also raised the topical issue of increasing prices of the oil products, and further increase of prices of fuel. The speakers suggested discussing the present-day situation at the meeting of the Committee on Transport and Communications.
